1 Understand the principles of non-linear editing
2 Digitise and import material
3 Do and assemble edit by using splice-in and overwrite
4 Use trim mode to refine your edits
5 Learn how to use Transitions
6 Using Video Effects (composite effects, secondary colour correction, keying, split screens etc)
7 Create and animate titles
8 Edit audio
9 Colour Correction and finishing
10 Export using AVI, Quick Time, Play out to tape
