Photography FoundationTutor: Othello De’Souza

When it comes to learning , the learner must be willing to be actively involved in the experience, and the course was totally interactive and involving. Student life is really great.Good to be around with different people and with good teachers.

I had a little experience in the photography, which the instructors all recognised and manged to adapt to my abilities throughout.
A full range of all equipment which was necessary, had a bit of trouble finding a shoe port which worked and the remote flash synch bits were not working, good job most of the instructors had their own equipment. but the studio and set up was great.

really good opportunity to learn from inspirational photographers. I loved the flow of the course as it allowed you to develop/learn at your own pace. You get out as much as you want to put in. Ideal for small groups. Had everything needed.

I learnt so much in that week and having three different people’s perspective on photography was definitely helpful for someone like me who is passionate about photography but hasn’t chosen what it is exactly that I want to specialise in whether its landscape, portraiture, street or wedding photography.  The facility was right near Euston Station- where we could go get lunch and wander around in our break. The room was a little small when trying to work with the backdrop and studio lighting but we still made it work.

I would recommend this course to anyone who needs to build up their portofolios. To my mind, the course is structured more for beginners. You basically learn how to set up high key lighting and low key lighting, get the chance to work with model, communicate with stylist and make up artist. At the last shooting, you direct everyone and do the shooting. If you are a begginner, you will definitely find it useful, and if you are advanced, it is a good experience as you get to do shooting with a real model and probably use photographs for your portfolio.

A very useful and practical course. Covered everything in good quality time. Very worth while,  will select a further course and training. Would prefer a posted certificate rather than on line if possible.

Fashion Photography – Tutor: Othello de Souza

Everything was above my expectations, I had the opportunity to work with wonderful and professional people. The tutor, Othello was brilliant and had a good practical way to teach lighting and the way the fashion industry works. Sarah proved to be a beautiful and professional model, and last but not least, Nebras was a quick and efficient hair and make up artist. The only downside of the course was the stylist who proved unable to bring clothing for the last day.
